UKTI East Midlands visit to Bulgaria (01/10/2009)
A team of representatives from UK Trade & Investment East Middlands including Robert Fisher, Executive Manager for the region, visited Sofia on 29th September – 1st October 2009.
The main focus of this visit was for the advisors to gain knowledge of the market opportunities which this country offers and how they can be matched with the expertise of the British companies. The trade advisors met with local experts from several industries and British businesses which are already well established in the country.
Both East Middlands and Sofia UKTI teams benefited from the discussions and generated new ideas for future mutual project. Plans were made for future actions and joint statement on how to improve the cooperation between Bulgaria and East Middlands and ways to service best UK customers.
