Cases of a (H1N1) - Swine Flu in Bulgaria

There are increasing numbers of confirmed human cases of A (H1N1) - Swine Flu in Bulgaria (source: Bulgarian Ministry of Health). The Bulgarian authorities have introduced entry screening in the form of thermal scanners at airport terminals. Passengers displaying flu-like symptoms are examined at airport medical points and directed to hospitals as required.

There are no entry/exit screening procedures in place at land or port border checkpoints. Health Certificates are not required.
