Slight delay to visa processing times

From 15 February 2010, all visa applications submitted to the UK Border Agency at the British Embassy in Sofia will be processed at the UK Border Agency’s Central and Eastern European processing centre based at the British Embassy in Warsaw. While we work on these network changes, visa applications may take an additional 5 working days to process.

The UK Border Agency would like to apologise to their customers for any inconvenience and will take all necessary steps to ensure that a normal service resumes as quickly as possible.

Consular Credit / Debit Card Payments

The Consular Section of the British Embassy is now able to accept credit card / debit card (Mastercard/ Visa and Borika) payment, during working hours only for consular services.
